These first six books in the series bring the life story of the band Demon's Wings, staring Nik, Jesse and the brothers Shane and Drake.
They were neighbors and created a band in high school, which was very popular and attracted the attention of a manager, Rich Branson.
But before they become pop star, there was a little girl nearby them, Ember Jameson - Emmie -, who was abused by her drugged mother, and the guys decided that they would take care of the girl.
Even after signing the contract and go out on tour, they took care of Emmie by sending money, have given a laptop and a cell phone to her.
When Emmie's mother finally died of overdose, they took custody of her (as it happens is very interesting !!!)
From there, they were looked after by Emmie, who grew up, became a very beautiful woman and competent in her work.
But Emmie kept a secret: she was in love with Nik, but he, like the other boys, was a womanizer.
When Emmie began to show signs that she was very ill, she hid it from them, until an outbreak, she went to the hospital and there's no more hiding about her health.
Emmie was afraid to have caught some illness from her mother, who was an addict.
From the diagnosis by the doctor, everyone's life changed.
They took vacation in Malibu, where Emmie rented a house. There, new revelations happened ... and love was in the air ...
Emmie decided to buy a house in Malibu, as the band decided to take an extended vacation and canceled the next tour.
She would need help to take care of the boys because they had peculiar need.
Through an agency job, Emmie hired Layla.
Layla needed much of this work since getting custody of the two younger sisters, Lana (17 years old) and Lucy (6 years old).
Layla proved to be a fairy godmother to Emmie, helping her in this difficult period of her life. In addition, she captured Jesse's attention, the band's drummer.
The chemistry between them was strong and soon Layla became irreplaceable for everyone... Love was in the air again...
But then, there was another addition to the group.
Lana, Layla' sis, although still young, called Drake's attention.
Of all of them, Drake was the one with the worst inner demons. Past family problems led him to have nightmares and he had to drink a lot to get to sleep. He had tried therapy and rehab, nothing worked.
Until he met his "Angel", Lana.
Lana was too much mature for her age and she knew she couldn't get involved romantically with Drake, but their hearts "didn't read this part of the memorandum", and the two fell in love.
Hang on! Before you think that something wrong happened, Lana turned 18. But Drake's demons were harder to combat than the issue of age difference of them (over 10 years). To Lana the only solution was go away.
At first, Drake freaked out, but then he took it as an incentive to "clean" himself and deserve the love of his "Angel".
In college, Lana knew Harper, a photographer.
Harper was beautiful and had serious self-esteem problems. She then preferred to stay behind the lens.
But that didn't stop Shane.
He also had inner demons (not as bad as Drake), but he had his escape, sex.
While Shane sees his brothers band happy with their wives/girlfriends, Shane wanted the same for himself. And he had decided that Harper was the perfect woman for him. Now, he just needed to convince her that despite being a rock star, he had heart and was able to love and cherish her.
When all seemed to be perfectly united and passionate, certain threats arose. Threats of past and present, who might ruin the treasure they had diligently built with tears and blood, and Demon's Wings, Emmie, Layla, Lana and Harper would do everything so that nothing separated them.
Definitely love is in the air. And you should run to read the first part of the series, because after that, the author presents us with another band, Other World, new stories, dilemmas and delights.
